[32] Crispinus in Christi nomine abba agens uicem domni mei Nefridi Olisiponensis ecclesiae episcopi haec statuta definiens subscripsi.
[33] Vuiliensus presbyter agens uicem domni mei Pimeni episcopi Asidonensis ecclesiae haec statuta definiens subscripsi.
[34] Paulus presbyter agens uicem domni mei Candedati episcopi Astoricensis ecclesiae haec statuta definiens subscripsi.
[35] Magnus presbyter agens uicem domni mei Marci episcopi Castelonensis ecclesiae haec statuta definiens subscripsi.

[32] I, Crispinus abba on behalf of my bishop Nefridus of the church of Lisbon, declared and signed these decrees.
[33] I, Wiliensus presbyter on behalf of my bishop Pimenus of the church of Medina Sidonia, declared and signed these decrees.
[34] I, Paul presbyter on behalf of my bishop Candidatus of the church of Astorga, declared and signed these decrees.
[35] I, Magnus presbyter on behalf of my bishop Mark of the church of Cástulo, declared and signed these decrees.
[36] I, Constantius presbyter on behalf of my bishop Theuderedus of the church of Beja, declared and signed these decrees.
[37] I, Reparatus presbyter on behalf of my bishop Etherus of the church of Elvira, declared and signed these decrees.

Discussion:

Crispinus signs himself as abba, but we do not know whether it indicates here a monastic status, especially because Crispinus is evidently subordinated to the bishop of Lisbon. Presbyters who are in charge of a parish church are sometimes called abbates (cf. [857]), see also Pietri 1983.
