Pope Sergius I issues a decision that a presbyter who is proved to be unbaptized shall be removed from office. If he was unaware that he was unbaptized, he shall be baptized and then reordained. Rome, between 687-701 (preserved in the canonical collections from the 9th century).
CLX. Si ordinetur non baptizatus. Sergii papae.

(ed. Maasen 1870: 972)
160. When an unbaptised man is consecrated. From Pope Sergius. If a person who is appointed presbyter knows that he is not baptised, and yet accepts ordination, he should be subjected to a long and severe penance, and baptised with ecclesiastical baptism. He should no longer be considered a presbyter because he has offered the mysteries with indecent hands and a defiled conscience. 161. He who has the conviction of having been baptised: But if he had the conviction that he had been baptised as a little child in the church, but later learned and it was confirmed that he had not been baptised, then he should be baptised after a temporary repentance, and by no means be deprived of the office of presbyter, but later be ordained. Those who had been baptised by him were to remain in the church.
