Here reposes in peace the Presbyter John of the title of St Caecilia, of the seventh region, who lived more or less [...].
He was deposed on the 15th day before the Kalends of January [18 December], of the third indiction.

Discussion:

The inscription was found in the basilica of St Cecilia.
The indictions started to be used in Italy at the end of the 5th century, so this is the terminus post quem of the inscription.
