Place of event:

Region
  • Rome
City
  • Rome

About the source:

Origin: Rome (Rome), Constantinople (East)
Denomination: Catholic/Nicene/Chalcedonian
Inscription is on a marble plaque broken in two places. Dimensions: height 0.63 m; width 1.30 m. Letter height 0.07 m.

The dating formula on the inscription refers to the pontificate of Bishop Innocentius, 401-417, but as he is described as "sanctus", it is probable that he was already dead at the moment of the commision.
