Pr{a}esbyter hic situs est Celerinus nomine dic[tus] / corporeos rumpens nexus qui gaudet in astris / dep(ositus) VIIII Kal(endas) Iun(ias) Fl(avio) Syagrio et Eucerio
A presbyter called by the name of Celerinus is placed here. He broke through the bodily bonds and rejoices among the stars. He was deposed on the 9th day before the Kalends of June, [under the consulship of] Fl[avius] Syagrius et Eucerius.

Discussion:
The inscription is in the Catacombs of St Agnes in Rome. The date of the deposition is 24 May 381.
