IX.33
Ingytrudis, abbess of the nunnery in Tours, quarreled with her daughter Berthegundis. Ingytrudis came to King Childebert to disinherit her daughter from any part of her father's, Ingytrudis' late husband, possessions. King Childebert orders that the inheritance be devided between both women, with Berthegundis receiving one quarter of the whole.
The presbyter Theutharius, who had been one of King Sigibert's referendaries but had since converted [to religious life] and accepted a presbyterial honour, came at King Childebert's command to make the division [of the property between the mother and the daughter].
