Funerary inscription commissioned by an anonumous presbyter for his close female relative, most probably wife, Trier (Gaul), ca 650/700.

Discussion:

Merten dated this epitaph palaeographically to the end of seventh century.
 
Merten suggested that, since the name of the deceased person ends with an "a", this epitaph was commissioned for a woman. The pronoun "quae" is also in feminine form. Likely, the presbyter of unknown name is here directly responsible for commemorating his close female relative. The mention of offspring would point with some confidence to a wife.

This epitaph was found in the necropolis Saint-Maximin. It is now conserved at the Museum am Dom Trier.
White marble, fine-grained, in two fragments; dimensions: 18 cm x 14 cm x 3 cm, with letters from 1,5 cm to 2,5 cm high.
